As a long time Halloween lover, I’ve posted before about seasonal Halloween activities, and most of these are options again this year. However, I thought it’d be a good idea to update the blog with the latest info.

Special Events
The Pemberton, for Rocky Horror bingo and trivia, pumpkin carving, and a pop punk/emo sip and paint. Their calendar is linked here.
Cyclebar is having tons of themed classes at their Scottsdale location, including every Thursday. I already enjoyed a Twilight themed ride. Your first ride is free, so it’s worth checking out even if you’re not sure a spin class is your thing.
The historic Rosson House in downtown Phoenix throws PoeFest, a celebration of Gothic horror and Edgar Allen’s works. If your perfect Halloween involves a live performance of The Raven, tickets are here.
Longtime favorite 414 will be throwing their usual costume contest, and a themed sip and paint.

The Riverwalk at Rawhide has a walk-through Glowing Pumpkins exhibit every day in October.
Gracie’s Tax bar has their usual wide-ranging slate of events, with something spooky happening at least weekly.
Curious Nature always has great events that tend towards the spooky or macabre, but in addition to their typically atypical offerings, they’re throwing two artisan markets for your holiday shopping this month. I recently attended and loved the Bat Chat, which they’re throwing again, but they have everything from a history lecture about local haunted buildings to a themed felt ornament craft to a conversation with a death doula or a tea leaf reading class.

Where to get a local PSL
It’s still early, so I haven’t had a chance to go after many fall drink specials. Some of the fall and pumpkin drinks I’m looking to check out are at places I haven’t previously recommended or talked about much: Light Heart (for options outside of pumpkin spice), Crete (tea-focused), Sweet Dee’s (for the aesthetic), Bang Bang, and Strip Mall.
Where to get something stronger
Little Rituals is hosting a popup of The Haunting. While I think their classic menu drinks can’t be beat, they have some extra fun options and the space is decorated incredibly well. Exercise caution if you don’t want to see a creepy doll.

OHSO Brewery is throwing their annual Great Pumpkin Beer Day on October 16th. It’s a tap takeover for pumpkin lovers (complete with pumpkin pie to go with it).

Last year’s information is still accurate, although Bitter & Twisted stepped up their game with a bonus Halloween menu. Movies are playing there every Thursday night all month.
