You can buy on this list, tax included, with a $10 bill and get change back.
I think it’s difficult to judge whether a splurge meal is worth it. I don’t know your budget or your personal taste; it’s impossible to say what more expensive restaurants will always be worth what they cost. This list, I can confidently promise, is all food worth the price tag.
I didn’t include drinks or desserts/baked goods since they’re typically cheaper, but my most recent post on bakeries is linked here.
Que Hoang: cha gio for $4

Alexi’s: blackened chicken Caesar salad for $7 (on happy hour)
Grand Ave Brewing: house smoked baked potato (trust me, it’s a meal unto itself) for $7
Ta Carbon: carne asada taco for $3.15
Tacos Huicho: taco Al Pastor for $2.75

Beach House: shrimp taco for $3.75
Copper Star Coffee: breakfast sandwich (I recommend veggies on Rosemary Asiago bagel) for $6.55
Starving Artist: dill pickle slice for $4.25 (on late night menu)
King Salmon: spicy scallop hand roll or unagi hand roll for $6.50 or $7.50 (on happy hour)

Happy eating! Let me know if I missed one of your favorite cheap things.
