There’s so many restaurants and bars opening these days, it’s hard to keep track. Luckily, I take going out to eat as a hobby very seriously. These are my top three spots of 2023 so far.

Liar’s Club
I’m tired of bars that don’t have good food as well as good drinks. Liar’s Club has funky decor, interesting drinks, and real dinner options. Shareable Detroit style pizza makes their menu unique and extra fun for a group.

Sin Muerte
By the people behind Belly, another one of my favorite restaurants, this concept is unique and plant-based. Still, I would confidently recommend their eggplant dip and corn pasta to any carnivore.

FYPM

Probably the most “aesthetic” choice— this is where I would bring my social media obsessed friends for a great photo op. But the beauty is more than skin deep! The Asian fusion menu is small but mighty, and the cocktail selection is fantastic.

Honorable Mention: Coabana
Technically opened in late 2022, this CityScape gem does Cuban-inspired tapas and cocktails. Pro tip: don’t miss the guava and cheese empanadas.
